Our first Sabbath with Izzy

Today we went to our first Sabbath with Izzy. She was a good girl in church and they showed a couple of pictures of her on the projector. Everyone congratulated us about the adoption. She's such a good baby, she doesn't get fussy at all. She went to everyone and didn't mind. We went to Sabbath school for the 0-2 year olds called Cradle Roll. It was fun to sing those songs that I remember when I was little. It brought back good memories. After church we went home, played with her for awhile and now she's down for her nap. To look at her makes me feel really happy that I have my own baby finally.

A long day!

It's been a long day. My little baby is so cute and I'm so glad that she's ours. I'd given up ever having a child, but I guess I was wrong. She is so cute sleeping in her crib.

She's home

Isabel is now home with us. It's been I pretty wonderful day. I never thought that I'd have a beautiful little baby like Izzy. She's a really good girl.

Our new baby comes home today.

We go pick-up Isabel (Izzy) today at 9:30 AM. I'm really excited and alittle scared. I've never spent much time with children this little. She'll be having her first birthday on July 28th. So it's pretty cool that we'll have her for her first birthday. I'm really looking foreword to being a father. Britty was already in fourth grade when I married Debbie, so she never really has considered me her father. Now things will be different. I spent most of the night after class, putting together the crib. We've bought a stoller, highchair, carseat and alot more. Target must have loved our check out. I never knew how expensive a baby could be. So it's just two more hours and it'll be done. You can see pictures of her on my Flickr site. Just look for the link on the right side bar. I think I'm going make a website just for her.

Wednesday

We talked to the Social Workers today and it looks like we are going to visit Isabel on Thursday at 9:30 AM and see what she is like. I'll have more information then. If we decide to take her, she'll be ours on Friday. We did go shopping tonight. Target and Super Walmart. I think we have all the basic stuff. She'll be two on June 28th, so we'll have her for her first birthday.

Isabel

We got a call today from Jeff at CPSS. He said that we might have a chance at alittle girl named, Isabel. We are going to "Full Disclosure," Wednesday at 3:30 PM. I guess we'll see how it goes. If it's something we want to do then she'll be with us on Friday.

Monday and Secrets

I saw my new doctor today at Kaiser Moreno Valley. He seemed like a really nice person. I hope he stays with Kaiser for awhile. I'd like to have the same doctor for more then a couple of visits. I then stopped by work and picked up a few books. I really hate having all this time off, I'm bored. Tonight just sucked, way to many secrets. Oh well, that's just the way it is.

Relaxing out front tonight with the girls.

Sunday

I washed and waxed my truck, mowed, trimmed, edged and weeded the yard, and it was just flat hot. What hell did I do all that for in the blazing heat. That was stupid! I did bbq a really nice New York steak for dinner and it just hit the spot with some really hot salsa. After that I spent the evening sitting out front reading a good book with Debbie, Britty, Aubrey and Kimmie. It was a nice evening and the little neighbor girls are funny. Aubrey read to Debbie for awhile and Kimmie was playing with the camera phone, taking pictures. Then all the girls went for a short walk.
