Reche Canyon burros
Officials aren't exactly sure how the burros got into Reche Canyon, although a former Rialto horse rancher has said he released 22 burros into the canyon in the early 1950s after roping them in Death Valley. I saw them today. It made me happy to see that they seem to be doing well. It was always a big deal as a kid to see the burros. It brings back good memories of growing up in Sunnymead. I really miss my small town, it's so big and now it's called Moreno Valley. I really have to thank my Mom and Dad for raising me in such a good place. I have only good memories now.
