I spent most of the morning with Izzy. A long walk, time in the neighborhood park and out front with Kimmie, Aubrey and Nick playing. I wanted to get somethings done but it just didn't happen. I'll do the yard work on Sunday. I didn't get much sleep last night. Izzy was up and down most of the night. Three more days and the new wood laminate floors will be done and things can get back to normal.

I can't put my finger on it, but today was a better day. Maybe it was Izzy, she sure was affectionate today, or maybe Debbie helped, she did, or even that I ate a good lunch and dinner. It is quiet now and time for me to reflect. A long walk in the morning and a stop at the park so Izzy could play. Izzy, Nick, Kimmie and Aubrey played in the pool until noon. Peanut butter sandwiches, cheddar cheese and water for all of us for lunch. A nice two hour nap for Izzy and I. Now that was the second best time today and more time in the pool in the afternoon. Applebees for a New York strip steak, onion rings, and a big Hearts of Romaine salad with Blue Cheese. Ah, that was the best. I feel satisfied and full. I'll have to post a few pictures on Flickr tonight when I go in. Tomorrow is Sabbath and hopefully a day of rest for me. I know we have to go get Izzy's new bed and maybe just stop at Barnes and Noble and Jamba Juice. I'm out front right sitting in a chair enjoying the nice breeze from the mountains, cooling everything off. Have a nice night.

I didn't have a good day today. I don't like alot of surprises in my life or disorder of any kind. Today was nothing but a mess. The house is a mess, concrete grinding to flatten the floor so we can have the wood laminate flooring installed in the family room, living room, dinning room and halls. After a day of loud noise, dust, disorganization, general craziness, and a two year old girl that I love, but is always busy. I've had it! I need a rest, a break, some peace and order. I won't be getting it. Friday will be another day of the same. Even here while I sit writing this after everyone has fallen asleep, it's a mess. Concrete dust on everything, furniture crowding me and nothing in it's place. I guess what they say about about getting by little by little, it will happen tomorrow. I'll survive and hopefully enjoy my time with Izzy, but everything else I'm pretty sure will be a struggle and hopefully soon forgotten once the floors are done. It's at least nice that it's quiet now. Izzy looks so calm and angelic while she sleeps. Hopefully she sleeps through the night. Some coffee in the morning and another day to get through.

This morning I woke-up rather early, 5:00 AM to be exact. My eyes just slammed open. A pot of Starbucks French Roast coffee to wake me really up! Izzy and I drove to Redlands to pick-up a friend who's recovering from a shoulder operation. Then we drove to Grandma's in Banning for breakfast. After about an hour and a half at breakfast with some other friends we meet, we dropped off Rich back in Redlands. We stopped at a friends work to check out his server room, I'll be placing a few machines on fixed IP addresses as a kind of collocation. Then lunch with Debbie and Izzy, leftovers? Ah, the best part of the day is now happening, naptime for Izzy and I.
