I had a great day at the Podcast and New Media Expo in Ontario CA today. I had a free exhibit pass and met a few really interesting people. Chris Brogan from the Grasshoppers Network that I belong to and a real neat guy that works for Educause. I also saw iJustine at the Talkshoe booth, met the CEO of Odeo and was invited into the Beta for the new site. LA and Orange County Podcaster groups attended and overall it was a great day to get away and enjoy myself.

It was a long week

Nothing exciting happened. Kiwanis on Wednesday night at Marla's Restaurant here in town. I always enjoy Kiwanis and convinced my friend, Jason to join. He'll join next week.

Beaumont Kiwanis selling Apple Strudel at the Octoberfest here in town at Noble Creek Park. I worked the booth all three nights. It was fun to chat and work with some great guys.

Well it looks like Debbie has a new job working for QuadraMed. I don't know much about the company, but her division was sold by Misys Healthcare, who she used to work for, Hopefully it'll be a good thing.

My unexpected day off

Izzy is sick and I've taken the day off. She's got a bad cold and really feeling under the weather. Runny noise, little cough, red eyes and cranky. My poor baby. She's getting better but it's upsetting to see my baby not feeling well.
